Are you allowing your light to shine?

Starting and growing a business is hard work, not because of the long hours that’s often attached to it, (because most of us, love the work we’re doing so time tends to fly by), but hard because entrepreneurship requires you to develop yourself consistently, it requires new habits that can be scary or make you feel silly entrepreneurship  desires us to get comfortable living outside of our comfort zone – which is easier said than done.

Recently, I was reminded of a quote from Marianne Williamson, you may have heard this first on Coach Carter

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” Marianne Williamson, A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of “A Course in Miracles”

While most of us can get ‘motivated’ and ‘inspired’ on our own, without developing new habits and creating a support system, motivation and inspiration can quickly evaporate and when that happens we can fall back into ‘Fear Talk’ (self-doubt, procrastination, lack mentality) a space that makes it impossible for us to shine our brightest light and serve our customers.

Fear is always going to be there, that’s why having great habits and support in your business is so important.

Are you feeling supported in your business

Working with a Business Coach/mentor will not only help you understand the practical steps that you need to take, they’ll help you get back into action when fear reappears,  help you improve your self-awareness, hold you accountable and call you out of the lies that you tell yourself ( lies like, no one want to read my newsletter or I need to change my branding before I promote my next offer) – a great coach will help you break through the Terror Barrier and support you on your Entrepreneurial Journey.

Three questions to ask yourself if you feel you could play bigger and share your gifts with more people!

  1. Do you make it easy for your ideal customers/clients to say yes to your offers?
  2. How much money do you want to bring into your business over the next 12 months?
  3. What could you do today to feel more supported in growing your business?

I’m on a mission to support as many entrepreneurs as possible over the next 12 months if you’re struggling to make a consistent income from your business feeling overwhelmed and not enjoying growing your business – or simply want to feel more supported going forward let’s talk.

What will you do today to play Bigger, the world needs what you offer

“Playing big doesn’t come from working more, pushing harder, or finding confidence. It comes from listening to the most powerful and secure part of you, not the voice of self-doubt.”

Thank-you Nathalie, I love how Bob Proctor explains it and yes, it’s great when we’re aware of the barrier or can guide others through xx
